The possums are causing a huge amount of damage and, in some cases, destroying trees, plants and animals that are native to New Zealand. Apparently, they have caused approximately $35 million worth of damage to New Zealand farms in the last year. Can you believe it?! That is a huge amount of money!<br /><br />I hope that they are able to find a solution to this predator issue that everyone in New Zealand can live with.
